MSC Technique and Mobile Photography for Development
Overview:
This unique training blends the Most Significant Change (MSC) technique with mobile photography to help development practitioners capture, document, and communicate real impact stories. Participants will learn how to facilitate meaningful storytelling while using photography as a tool to bring voices from the field to life.
Key Objectives:
Understand the principles and steps of the Most Significant Change technique
Build facilitation skills to collect authentic and reflective change stories
Learn mobile photography basics: framing, lighting, ethics, and storytelling through images
Practice combining narratives and visuals to create compelling stories of change
Explore how MSC and photography can enhance M&E, advocacy, and learning efforts
Who Should Attend:
M&E officers, communication specialists, project staff, and development practitioners interested in participatory storytelling, impact documentation, and creative learning methods.
Training Approach:
Grounded in participatory learning, this interactive course includes storytelling circles, field photography practice, group feedback, and real-time editing tips using mobile devices.
